X-Treme Express: World Grand Prix is a Syscom Entertainment-developed PS2 train racing arcade game that was released in Japan and Europe. With several dozen trains to select representing a variety of nations that can be played on ten stages, the basic goal in the game is to quickly reach the train platform at the opposite end of each stage, although doing so requires such things as managing the train car’s weight while turning and combatting other cars in an attempt to knock them off rail lines, among other things. Additionally, each train has different stastical ratings according to variables such as speed, acceleration, braking, and how well they can handle turns, making some trains more advantageous for certain types of stages than others.
