Issue with US version fix.
-Changed the files lic.DAT, PS3_DISC.SFB, and Param.SFO files to reflect BLES00816, and the installation is now working! Before, the installation sat at 0% and never moved. Before that I tried converting gamefolder to .iso didn’t work, and changing param.sfo from blueray disc type to hddgame didn’t work. DLC’s dont seem to work…hmm

Hola, tengo una solución para todos aquellos a los que convertir en iso o borrar ciertos archivos no les funciona.
Yo en mi ps3 tengo una carpeta llamada /app_home/PS3_GAME esta carpeta siempre me sirvió para iniciar juegos, cuando me tope con el problema en el resident evil 5 vi la carpeta y dije Hey, tal vez funcione lo intente y el juego corre perfectamente, es una solución alternativa.

Hi, I have a solution for all those who convert to iso or delete certain files does not work for them.
On my ps3 I have a folder called / app_home / PS3_GAME this folder always helped me to start games, when I ran into the problem in resident evil 5 I saw the folder and said Hey, maybe it works I will try and the game runs perfectly, is an alternative solution.

Debes editar el archivo PARAM.SFO y habilitar la opción de BOOTEABLE, antes de convertirlo en .ISO.
A que se refieren con editar el archivo y habilitar la opción booteable? desde donde hago eso y como?
hay un programa llamado PARAM SFO Editor y para convertir a pkg estan los prorgamas CFW2OFW Helper y Make-backup_pkg

For those who want an easy Platinum trophy achievement to this game. Only go for the Standard version. Because in Gold Edition, DLC trophies are now part of the core trophy instead of being a seperate one. It will be very time consuming and it will be having an extra playthrough to play on harder difficulty. If you still want the Extra Contents, standards first then install the DLCs.

Who are facing problem with game “This disc cannot be started” and game region is BLES00816
Only solution is to delete file called PARAM.SFO and bring from any game the file which is PARAM.SFO
and use tool param.sfo editor to edit file and change it into your game region which is BLES00816
This only solution to start the game

which one of all actually works?, Ive downloaded 2 of them and both have problems, one freezes after the logos come up, the other freezes during installation of data.

tengo error al cargar el juego en mi ps3, me dice imposible iniciar desde disco, y lo pongo externo tambien, y cuando ya esta por iniciar y copiando datos en sistema de PS3 me apaga la ps3 en 50% de carga ,me ayudan porfavor este es BLES00816[RE5GoldEdition].mfenano. ya busque una actualizacion en update con eso cago a 50% pero siempre apaga y queda parpadeando la luz roja
Si lo tienes en modo carpeta, transformalo a formato iso con multiman!
