Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a story-driven adventure game, with seasoned hero Solid Snake drafted for one final mission. Set across stages including the Middle East and South America, the now aged Snake has been asked to assassinate his old adversary, Liquid Ocelot. To do this, however, he must make his way through a series of battlefields, using his legendary stealth abilities and all-new OctoCamo suit to avoid detection and to reach his target. With series favorites such as Meryl Silverburgh, Raiden, Hal ‘Otacon’ Emmerich, Eva and Roy Campbell returning, and with all new gameplay features including a remote-controlled Metal Gear Mk. II and enhanced CQC (Close Quarters Combat) system, Metal Gear Solid 4 rounds out the Metal Gear saga with a fittingly cinematic and gripping final outing.

In this game there is a spitted big file , so if you load game by FTP the file remains splitted and it doesn’t work well. To solve this problemi there are 2 way.
1) Create ISO with Multimann
2) Load the game in PS3 using USB and not FTP
After some failing attempts with ps3merge or PS3iso tools…
Here is the Definitive fix to play – BLES00246 ( HEN 3.02 – HFW 4.87)
1) Download and extract game folder.
2) Copy on FAT32 external HDD / USB
3) With Multiman file manager, Copy the Game Folder in Internal PS3 HDD (into PS3ISO) and Choose “Paste as ISO”.
**that’s all**
Game’s not freezing/blocking and working perfectly.
(if this instructions shouldn’t work… Don’t update the Game to 2.00 version at the first start…)
Não conseguindo rodar o jogo pois toda vez que abro o jogo ele då tela preta e volta pra XMB. Alguém pode me ajudar a resolver o problema?
This game has the main game files split into .666XX files in the mgs folder. you need to use “ps3 merge” to combine them back into 1 file and upload to ps3 using FTP or create ISO otherwise you will get black screen when trying to play

I tried to download through letsupload two times. First was Race Driver Grid and second now GOTP. Both times i have a Download Speed of 50 to 60 KB/s. Same i Download through MEGA and i have a Download Speed of 800 KB/s. May you can do something. Thanks, and have a nice day!

If you guys downloaded the 7 part pkg you need to merge it first before installing multiman can do that for you or you can also use cmd prompt the dlcs can be downloaded using a dns server just look it up online

i fixed it by using PS3Merge on pc, i merged the files demo.dat.66600,demo.dat.66601,demo.dat.66602 ,demo.dat.66603 into single file demo.dat then i reinstalled the game
