this game was so underrated, i had this on my hdd for years and literally just got to playing and completing it last week, then did dmc5 now plan on completing dmc hd collection.

I have over 10TB worth of PS4 games, which I’ve likely played 5% of, completed probably 3%.

But to those who check comments, this game isn’t as bad as the reviews it received, I guess they’re based on upset fans that despise “change” aka Dante’s emo/goth fashion which they fail to understand that this is who Dante is, even in the originals he was always a emo/punk rock like goth.

They missed the key focus of the games setting, Dante’s prequel story and not just his but also the foundation to his rivalry with his twin brother Virgil and more so his parents.

It’s a shame this couldn’t have continued on, DMC5 was very obvious and tbf the only good part in the entire games story is the part of Virgils sword, the Yamato and why Sparda gave it to Virgil the sword that separates demons from its host yet Dante was given the Rebellion Sword in which Dante finally uncovers its hidden secret (I won’t say and spoil it for those that haven’t completed DMC5 yet).
